Baked Tofu
Yield: 8 slices/servings
Ingredients:
¼ cup Bragg® Liquid Aminos
2 teaspoons honey (optional)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 Tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1 teaspoon minced garlic (1-2 cloves)
1-pound extra firm or super tofu
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix together seasoning in a small mixing bowl.
Pour half the mixture into a large non-stick baking dish.
Slice tofu block into 8 slices. Place tofu in a single layer on dish. Pour the remaining marinade over tofu.
Bake for 30 minutes.

Hints: Use 1 teaspoon ginger powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder in place of fresh ginger and fresh garlic. To help the tofu absorb more of the flavor, freeze the tofu. Then thaw it and continue with the recipe. The flavors will be better absorbed, and it will have a more meat like texture. Nutritional Facts per slice:
