Stewed Lima Beans
Yield: 2 ½-cup servings
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen baby lima beans
¾ cup water
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup onion, minced
2 teaspoons nutritional yeast flakes
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Cook over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until lima beans are tender. Sauce should be creamy.

Hints: Freezes well.
Variations: Holiday Stewed Lima Beans: Add 2 Tablespoons pimentos.
